Instructions for recycling five items or less:
1. Place up to five items in an envelope.
- Use a large envelope, 6" x 9" or larger.
- Wrap each inkjet cartridge in a tissue and place in a plastic bag.
- Reduce waste by minimizing packaging - no padding needed.

2. Download the mailing label and print it out.

You may print the mailing label on Avery label stock #5165 to make it easier to affix to the envelope.
3. Affix label squarely and securely on the envelope with transparent tape (if you did not print it on label stock)
- Cover up or cross out any other addresses and barcodes on the outside of the parcel.
- Don't fold the label over the edge of the envelope.
- Don't cover up any printed part of the label.
4. Place the envelope into the nearest mailbox.
- Take it to a post office, drop it in a collection box, or give it to a postal carrier.

Do not send accessories, manuals, or original boxes with your cell phone or MP3 player.

Instructions for recycling six items or more:
1. Pack six or more items into a box.
- Place phones, MP3 players, and/or inkjet cartridges in a box no larger than is necessary to hold the items.
- Make sure to wrap each inkjet cartridge with a tissue and place in a plastic bag.
- Reduce waste by minimizing packaging. A snugly packed, minimum-sized box can allow for safe shipping with minimum packaging waste.

2. Request a FedEx prepaid label from E-Recycling For Dummies.
- Send E-Recycling For Dummies an e-mail with
your complete name and address.
- E-Recycling For Dummies will mail you a prepaid FedEx label so
that you can ship for free. It should arrive within five days.
- Affix the label to your box.
3. Affix label squarely and securely on the envelope.
- Cover up or cross out any other addresses and barcodes on the outside of the parcel.
- Don't fold the label over the edge of the envelope.
- Don't cover up any printed part of the label.
4. Ship your recycling package.
- Drop your package at any FedEx dropbox or FedEx/Kinko's location.
